CARAVAN & THE NEW SYMPHONIA - In Concert at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane (SML-R 1110)

12" LP. Deram Records UK release from 1974. Original UK issue of prog rock symphony. Bringing the prog rock band Caravan and The New Symphonia Orchestra together for this recording was the work of Martyn Ford, conductor of the New Symphonia, and John G. Perry, who played bass with Caravan at the time. Musicians include: Bass Guitar, Vocals – John G. Perry; Conductor – Martyn Ford; Drums – Richard Coughlan; Electric Piano, Organ, Synthesizer – Dave Sinclair; Orchestra – The New Symphonia; Electric Viola – Geoffrey Richardson; Vocals, Guitar – Pye Hastings. 4 tracks including: Introduction, Mirror For The Day, The Love In Your Eye, Virgin On The Ridiculous, For Richard. Jacket has some shelf wear and a few marks.

THE AYNSLEY DUNBAR RETALIATION - Retaliation (LBS 83223)

12" LP. Liberty UK release from 1969. LP also known as "To Mum From Aynsley And The Boys". Vary rare Psych prog blues rock album that was quickly deleted upon original release, this is the more rare first pressing with run out groove matrix numbers: side 1 - A v (triangle) 1 420; side 2 - B v (triangle) 1 420. Record label is the blue Liberty version, cover design by Hipgnosis. Produced by UK blues legend John Mayall. Musicians include: Drums - Aynsley Dunbar; Bass Guitar - Alex Dmochowski; Lead Guitar - John Moorshead; Piano/organ - Tommy Eyre; Vocals - Victor Brox. 8 tracks including: Don't Take The Power Away; Run You Off The HIll; Let It Ride; Journeys End; Down, Down, Dow; Unheard; Sugar On The Line; Leaving Right Away. Jacket has just a little wear, but no writing, vinyl looks very clean.

Musicians include: Peter Hope Evans - Harmonica, Jew's Harp; John Fiddler - Vocals, Guitar, Drums and others. 9 tracks including: Out On The Street, How Does It Feel, Instant Karma Kid, Another Lay, Blue Suede Shoes / To Train Time, One & One Is One, Morning Light, I Know Why, All The Fallen Teenangels. Jacket has a little shelf wear, a saw cut, and an old price sticker remnant of front.

The album features an interview with Robin, Liz, and Simon following the release of their album Treasure. The interview is approximately 45 minutes long, the record apparently limited to 1500 copies. Comes in its own clear cellophane sleeve, no artwork, as released.
