Bandleader, composer, Arranger, master timbalero Tito Puente, aka El Rey (The King), one of the most prolific latin artists who never failed to live up to his El Rey name, and deliver great mambo music. 12 tracks incuding: Pa Borinquen, El Paso, Quisiera Olividarte, Cancion De La Serrania, Vega Baja, El Que Usted Conoce, Babarabatiri, Morena, Romance Del Campesino, Ocua, Tile, Ay Que Bueno. Jacket in great shape with no splits.

Tito Puente's early recordings such as this one are best known for the dance-oriented mambos, bombas and chachachas. His career in salsa music lasted over 50 years. 12 tracks including: Adela, Knockout, The Man From Jamaica, Oigan Mi Cha Cha Cha, Cherry Pink & Apple Bloss, Hot Tamales, Rico Vacilon, Espinita, Cogele Bien el Compas, Cha Cha Cha For Lovers, Carolina, Mangue. Vinyl looks unplayed. Jacket split top and bottom and a little water staining (see scan). Nonetheless a nice copy of an early Tito release.

A bizarre concept where the bands play the same song, but one after another at regular intervals so that one moment it is the Latin American rhythms and the next a more strict tempo standard big band format. 10 tracks including: Bahia (Na Baixa Do Sapateiro), I Concentrate On You, Autumn Leaves, Harlem Nocturne, Kiss Of Fire, The Continental, Blue Moon, Temptation, So In Love , Baby Won't You Please Come Home. This album is a nice helping of instrumental cuts aimed at the latin dancer.
