Musicians include: Francisco 'Paquito' Hechavarria, Tany Gil, Jose Fajardo and many others. Instrumentation is keyboards, percussion, timbales, flute, violins etc. This unique release seems to have been the brainchild of musician / producer Tany Gil. Original stereo release of this album from master percussionist Antonio Chocolate Diaz Mena. Record label is silver with black text. Afro-Cuban jazz with some legendary musicians including: Antonio Diaz Mena a.k.a. "Chocolate" on conga with Alejandro "El Negro" Vivar, Alfredo "Chocolate" Armenteros, Johnny Coles, Richard Williams, Carlos "Patato" Valdez, Victor "Papo" Allende, Jorge Tapia, Miguel Avila and others. Ramon Quian "Monguito" sings on "Gozando el Guaguancó". Superb arrangements by Lalo Schifrin, Duke Pearson and Felipe Yanez. 12 tracks including: Tin Tin Deo, Pega Joso, Mambo Jazz Opus #7, Take 5, Kush, Harlem Nocturne, Con Alma, Caravan, Green Dolphin Street, Poinciana, Gozando El Guaguanco, What Kind Of Fool Am I. Jacket has split along top and starting to split at bottom edge, but nice and clean with very little shelf wear. A very rare LP. | <<< <<< | ||||||

Band leader Gene Hernandez was the vocalist for the New York charanga band Orquesta Broadway. 1970s 80s period New York salsa dance music. Mid 1950s Afo Cuban jazz from Shearing, where he covers material by Tito Puente, Rene Touzet and others. 12 tracks including: Perfidia, Mambo With Me, Without You, Old Devil Moon, Mi Musica Es Parati, Anitra's Nanigo, Yours, Cuban Love Song, Watch Your Step, Poodle Mambo, Canto Karabali, Strange Enchantment. Jacket has a few nicks and a little edge wear but looks clean and fresh, vinyl looks virtually unplayed. | <<< <<< | ||||||

Also says "augmented with Latin percussion and flute" but no musician credits.
