Tracks include the classic 'Tin Tin Deo', Tito Puente's 'Que Sera'. 12tracks including: Peanut Vendor; Angelitos Negros; El Cumbanchero; Joonji; Que Sera; Mexican Hat Dance; Spanish Rice; Say Si Si; Macarena (La Virgen De La Macarena); Tin Tin Deo; Contigo En La Distancia; Happiness Is. OJC (Original Jazz Classics series) issue of a Prestige Records release (original catalogue number lp7051), from the Fantasy group USA. No date but most likely mid 1980s, original recording done in 1954. Cubop latin jazz with some longer tracks with great solos from Candido and the band. Jacket notes state: "...There are, of course many Latin-American drummers who play well with jazz groups but I have not heard anyone who even approaches the wonderful balance between the jazz and Cuban rhythmic elements that Candido so vividly demonstrates, and his technical facility is, to say the least astounding..." 6 tracks including: Mambo Inn, Bit Of Bedlam, Declivity, Love For Sale, A Live One, Different Bells.
