ROY LONEY AND THE PHANTOM MOVERS
Out After Dark (SS9001)
12" LP. Ex- Flamin' Groovies lead man and vocalist Roy Loney
branching out with his own rock and roll combo. A 1979 release on
the Californian label Solid Smoke. Total of 12 tracks including Born
to be Your Fool, Rockin in The Graveyard, San Francisco Girls etc. This was the first Phantom Movers album and according to Roy Loney
(in 2005) it was "...an absolute follow-up to Teenage Head. It seems like a natural progression, the next step. A little new-wave-y maybe... Out After Dark may be the best thing I've ever done."
