12" LP. Double LP. Combo Records, USA compilation release from 1982. Orange vinyl double LP gatefold jacket set of the best from El Gran Combo up to 1982. El Gran Combo, led by Rafael Ithier, is one of Puerto Rico's oldest and most respected salsa music bands. Established over 30 years ago, their sound has stayed fresh despite changing line ups and singers. This compilation is an excellent set of the best of their work up from the 1960s to the early 1980s. 20 tracks including: La Muerte, Acangana, Ojos Chinos, El Caballo Pelotero, La Calle Dolor, Milonga Sentimental, Falsaria, Ponme El Alcolado Juana, Por El Pecho No, Don Goyo, Julia, Los Zapatos De Manacho, La Salsa De Hoy, Vagabundo, La Soledad, Buscando Ambiente, Aqui No Ha Pasado Nada, Brujeria, Compañera Mia, El Menu. Jacket fine condition but with a little wear and a few nicks.
