ARMANDO OREFICHE AND HIS HAVANA CUBAN BOYS - Captivating Cuba Vol 2 (PDL 85032)
12" LP. Felsted Records, UK mono release from 1950s. Classic Cuban big
band from Armando Orefiche and his orchestra which was formed after a split with
the Lecuona Cuban Boys. The sides that make up Captivating Cuba Vol 1 and vol 2,
were recorded in Germany in 1956 and only released in the UK in 1957.
12 tracks including: Nostalgia Cubana, Me Siento Amoroso, Dime Adios,
Rendez-Vous En Madrid, Cha Cha La Negra, La Guajira, Cuanto Me Alegro, Canto A
Rio De Janeiro, Bolero Arabe, Corazon Para Que, Mi Camaguey, Munecas Del Cha
Cha. Some wear on jacket, with split along bottom edge, liner notes by Nigel
Hunter.
