Ocho were led by vibes and piano player Chico Mendoza who had a firm grasp of where salsa music came from and where it was destined to go. Musicians here include: Charlie Palmieri, Adalberto Santiago, Jimmy Sabater, Ismael Quintana, Manny Roman, and a host of other greats. An essential LP for any salsa music collector. Tracks include 'La Batanga', 'Guaguanco En Tropicana', 'Last tango in Paris', 'Descarga Con Bajo' and 4 others.
