THE GHETTO BROTHERS -
Power - Fuerza (LPS 2008)
12" LP. Ultra rare latino funk and rock from the South
Bronx, New York. Original LP on the rare Salsa Records label (a
division of Mary Lou Records), produced by Bobby Marin. This band
grew out of a street gang in the Bronx, this being their one and
only release. Now acknowledged as part of the roots of hip hop, by
author Jeff Chang in his book on the roots of hiphop 'Can't Stop
Won't Stop'. From guajira rock to psychedelic rock this is surely
the one of the rarest latin records ever!
