12" LP. USA Decca 1956 release of Cha Cha Chas and Mambos. Alberto Socarras is credited as the first Cuban flute player in jazz and one of the first to start an orchestra
performing latin music in New York city. His flute playing and arrangements are
often praised highly by more modern latin musicians. 12 songs including:
Hora Staccato, Twelfth Street Rag, Nola, Frenesi, Madrid, Capricho Brujo and others. Jacket is nice and
fresh but has tape along top
edge.
